Google Drive Storage Source

· One min read

Google Drive files can now be downloaded directly into trainML Datasets and Models.

The HTTP storage integration has been enhanced to allow download and automatic extraction of compressed files stored in Google Drive. First, you have to create a direct download link for the file you wish to download. Instructions for how to do this can be found here. The link should look something like this:

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1Q7MB6smDEFd-PzpqK-3cC2_fAZc4yaXF

Select the Web/HTTP source type in the dataset or model creation form and set the Source URI to the direct download link. If the file is a well known archive format (zip, tar, tgz, gzip, bzip2, etc.), it will be automatically extracted post download.
